Not gonna lie, self love has been an arduous journey for me. That’s why I painted this 12x16 piece. Nothing bigger because baby steps, but still big and vibrant and loud, like I want my self love to be. This is an affirmation for everybody. It’s not gendered, and I didn’t intend for it to be viewed as a “girl’s only” piece because that’s lame. Everybody needs to be able to say “I Love Myself” without shame or reservation. This piece is a magenta mashup with acrylic marker on the doodles. Perfect. Period.
